Tasman Travels

We visited Craters of the Moon yesterday. How lovely! Really nice, easy stroll around the geothermal area with awesome scenery, really magical. The paths and boardwalks are wheelchair and pushchair friendly which is nice to see and if you want a more strenuous walk, you can head up to the lookout. We spent a good hour or so wondering around, and ready the information signs. Really worth the stop! Thanks to Kelly and the girls behind the counter for making our experience so memorable.

Barely worth the $8, "Craters of the Moon" had me expecting much more... The odd garbage laying around the place is unfortunate, you see nice steaming vents next to the walkway and think "that will be good for a photo", then you look in and there's lolly wrappers or other crap in there.. The odds bits of timber sticking out of the dry mud pools isn't a good look either... In general the place needs some basic upkeep..

Not worth the 8$ in my opinion.
