Tiny piece of pristine paradise. Haven't seen this combination of trees and plants anywhere on North Island. Really worth a visit, especially as it is so close to Gizzy. The walk is rather 20 mins, not 40 - 60 as indicated.

Not the best bush reserve but pretty cool. It is composed mostly of Nikau Palms and Kahikateha and it is that type of bush which covered all the flatlands in the poverty bay before the colonisation.
