You can go through the private land, just shut the gates, but you will NEED a 4 wheel drive. Cool scenery on the way there. The "wall" is just an old stone wall about 2 ft high, but still neat. If you drive, you practically drive to the waterfall , so not a far walk. Definitely worth it for the scenery , but it's a long walk without a truck.



No access from the west on the coastal road(coming from the pinnacles, seal colony and lighthouse) due to a tiny stretch of private land. What would take ten minutes from the lighthouse will actually take you over 3 hours.

I dont understand why its written « Maori wall » ? But the walk is nice with beautiful view
