Monday to Friday Te Ahumairangi: 9am to 5pm Reading Rooms: 10am to 5pm Saturday Te Ahumairangi: 9am to 1pm Reading Rooms: 9am to 1pm Closed on public holidays. Join us at Te Ahumairangi, the ground floor of the National Library and Alexander Turnbull Library. Walk in and be welcomed Enter near the Ra and waka, from where we extend out manaakitanga, and the Kaiarahi team will welcome you. We'll guide you to the spaces, places or people who can help you discover our collections and services. Come to work, meet people, enjoy the galleries and programmes, and have a bite to eat. Head upstairs to use the Alexander Turnbull Library Reading Rooms and visit the Turnbull Gallery.
