This museum is one of the best we have seen and we really loved the Gallipoli section, the large life-like sculptures were exceptional! We also loved the rainforest section and even the knowledge we gained regarding Māori culture. This museum had so many different floors, and you could definitely spend a couple of hours here. It's free too!!! AMAZING! One of the best museums. Had amazing wildlife and interactive experiences. Lots of places for kids to play and let out energy while learning. Great for adults too. Good indigenous culture too. The special exhibit was amazing as well! would recommend

Surely must do thing if u have a time (couple hours) in Welly. Best price/value option for parking is Wilson parking @ Alpha Street. 10 mins of walk to Te Papa museum and $15 for whole day with an early bird ticket.
