Description

Te Roroa Visitors Centre in the Waipoua is the central hub for those wishing to explore the forest and experience the majesty of this special place in the world. From here you can enjoy a quick meal, book accommodation or a guided tour through the bush with one of our knowledgeable and experienced local guides. Open daily 9am 4pm. Waipoua, and the adjoining forests of Mataraua and Waima, make up the largest remaining tract of native forest in Northland. Dogs are not permitted. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
