We absolutely cannot recommend this highly enough! We did the hole hog with the guided tour, performance and then self-guided walk around the geothermal pools, lakes and absolutely loved it! Could have stayed here all day! Want to go back and do it all over again. Our guide, Waimaria, apologies if that's incorrect, was so wonderful, so informative and friendly. Renee who we organised our experience with was so organised and lovely too!

We did the most amazing guided tour through the Whakarewarewa Living Māori Village in Rotorua, our guide Stu with the help of his future young school student tour guides, was so knowledgeable and in touch with his heritage and the land. There are several guided options to pick from throughout the village as well as unguided options and the Māori Cultural Performance in the middle of the day. We could definitely come back her, by far the best of the Māori Village locations in the area, everyone is so friendly and the geothermal atmosphere is astonishing.
