Description
Almer Hut is one of the most famous huts in the Southern Alps. It sits above Franz Josef Glacier with excellent views down the valley and across to the high peaks. This is an alpine serviced 12-bunk hut. Fees apply. Bookings not required - first come, first served.
Facilities include mattresses, non-flush toilets and water (not treated - boil before use).
Backcountry hut passes are not valid at Almer Hut.
