Description

This is a basic four-bunk hut located in Ruataniwha Conservation Park in the Mackenzie Country and Waitaki area. There are no fees. Bookings not required - first come, first served. Facilities include heating, mattresses, non-flush toilets and water from a stream. People travelling to the hut by 4WD vehicle are expected to take their own firewood in with them. Walk, ride a mountain bike or horse, or four wheel drive to the hut. Tracks to the hut: Baikie Hut Track.
