Description

This is a basic six-bunk hut located in Kahurangi National Park in the Buller area. No fees apply. Bookings not required - first come, first served. Facilities include heating, mattresses, non-flush toilets and water from a stream. Access into Greys Hut via the Karamea Gorge Route is no longer being maintained by DOC. The hut will continue to be kept to its current standard. Walking access is recommended only to experienced and equipped backcountry trampers on nature's terms.
