Description

This is a basic 2-bunk hut located in Kahurangi National Park. There are no fees. Bookings not required - first come, first served. Facilities include mattresses, non-flush toilets and water (not treated - boil before use). Poor Pete's Hut is accessible from the Matiri Valley and 1000 Acre Plateau tramping tracks. Altitude: 1,040 m above sea level.
