Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park is the only Camping, Caravan, Motor Home/RV Holiday Park on the Great Alpine Highway 73 linking Christchurch on the East Coast with the ever changing and beautifully diverse West Coast and Glacier Region.
Set on fifteen acres of Beautifully Terraced Powered, Non Powered and Tent sites allowing stunning views of The Mighty Taramakau River, Snow Capped Mountains of the Southern Alps, Waterfalls and of course our own Stunning NZ Native Rain Forest.
With accommodation for all budgets, from our Cosy Cabins, Self Contained Unit to pitching your Tent on one of our Camp Sites that are large, private and set amongst Native bush providing a Peaceful, Relaxing, Eco-Friendly environment for your complete enjoyment. We also have our unique award winning All-weather covered sites for either your Campervan, Caravan, Motorhome, RV,Tent or you can hire our own Tent that's pitched and ready to go!
Also available for all Park guest is our large Mobility Access Facility Unit, Coin operated Laundry Facilities, Washing Line & Pegs.
Free BBQ, Free Adult Bike hire, Free Baby Bath, Free Highchair and on site Dump Station Free for guests, WIFI Hot Spot & Internet Station & DVD Hire.
Visit our Pantry for your basic or, not so basic camping requirements, order fresh home made bread, we sell our own free range eggs and also from our own tunnel house we have seasonal vege's.
